Sheepdog Handling Fun Days & Bed & Breakfast :

The sheepdog handling/fun training day is your chance to give it a try, you use our trained sheepdogs on our sheep, under instruction from Alan, and then see how the young border collies start their training!

An informative day out, buy a gift token for a present, or have a go your self, a must if you like working sheepdogs or perhaps just love border collies.

Troutal Farm is a traditional working herdwick sheep farm lying in the beautiful and stunning Duddon Valley, at the heart of the English Lake District. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation in a traditional Victorian English Farmhouse and an informal and welcoming atmosphere.

Troutal Farm is ideally located for all Lakeland activities including walking and cycling. In the Duddon Valley and surrounding Langdale, Eskdale and Coniston, one will find excellent walking opportunities ideal for the rambler to the experienced hill walker.
